Personal Transformation
8 Letters Detailing my Growth with God
Clarity Transformed Pursuing
Chapter 13
Reflections of Clarity
Clarity comes in quiet reflection:
Leadership built on tradition fueled by purpose is the ultimate victory.
You honored my Dad that day.
A true friend shows up in a time of need.
My respect for you runs deep.
You continue to quietly share your message and I respect you greatly.
Your gift got me back to the basics during a difficult time.
Thank you Adam
Love and Respect

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)
Chapter 14
Purposeful Solitude
Time in the Word:
How seeking solitude in the word brought me one step closer to God’s will for my life.
Read more, worry less
In the spring of 2015, I lived in a quiet cabin on Piney Butt Loop.
Situated above the downtown chaos of Gatlinburg, it was heavenly.
Soon after I moved in, the owner sent a crew, and they built me a brand new deck under the shade of a thousand yellow poplars.
This became my fortress.
My solitude.
A place where my restless mind could unwind.
Less than a mile from work, I couldn’t have scripted a better place to call home.
My upstairs bedroom was just a few steps away from my outdoor oasis in the shade.
Downstairs was an old rustic fireplace.
I had a nice pool table.
And between the two, my kitchen.
It was small and outdated, but I was thankful.
I had everything I needed.
Or so I thought….

“But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.” (James 1:14)
Chapter 15
Embrace Simplicity
God never blinks:

This letter is dedicated to anyone who feels forgotten by God.
“God Never Blinks”
A key inspiration in my creative pursuit has been the healing words of Ms. Regina Brett.
Ms. Brett, your healing words have inspired me to create.
My Dad gifted your book to my Sister one Christmas.
Weeks before she passed she gifted me the book.
Dad’s message to her was simple. It was pure.
Thank Goodness God Never Blinks,
Daddy loves you and your family.
Your words helped me heal.
Your lessons inspire many.
Thank You.

“Jesus wept.” (John 11:35)
Chapter 16
Harmoniously Hopeful
Echoes of the harmonica:
She’ll be comin round the mountain
Divinely directed and connected to you.
Every afternoon we’re connected through music.
Dad your musical gift inspired me to fulfill your legacy.
Through your love of music, while a little outta tune, I honor you.
Quietly sharing your message of hope, trust, and faith in Christ alone.

“Let them praise his name in the dance, and make music to him with tambourine and harp.” (Psalm 149:3)
Chapter 17
Honor Humbleness
Humility comes before honor:
Humble Kind Intuitive
On the morning of June 24, 2025 I headed to downtown Knoxville for a meeting with John and Molly.
I had been working part time at Wild Laurel Golf Course which gave me the freedom to pursue my creative projects at night.
Driving down Alcoa Hwy that morning I was flooded with conflicting emotions.
I knew with my spirit of hospitality and passion for golf I should be more enthusiastic about this potential management role.
John welcomed me into his office with such humbleness and kindness.
Molly was equally genuine and her intuitive spirit makes her a strong leader.
John shared his vision for the course and emphasized the importance of preserving the land to honor his family’s legacy.
I couldn’t find the words to express myself that morning.
In front of me was a great opportunity but I felt immensely disconnected from it all.
As we walked through downtown John handled every interaction with kindness.
Multiple people paid him such respect, but it was his humbleness that left me speechless that day.
During lunch I just couldn’t find my words. I felt so defeated as we headed back to the office.
This letter is dedicated to people who humbly share their gift and vision with the world.
Thank you both for treating me with such kindness and respect.

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” (James 4:10)
Chapter 18
Receptive Listening
Be still and listen:

“A new horizon awaits”
Thank you Anna for this nice photo you took in Tellico Plains.
You’ve always been there for me and I respect you greatly.
One fine fall day we were leaf lookers.
The land is better on this side.
A new horizon awaits.
Love and Respect

Chapter 19
Compassion Empowers
Genuine compassion fuels hope:
This thank you letter is for Tim and Katie.
As I pulled into your driveway that faithful morning, you quietly walked your dog.
You sauntered over so calmly, unbothered and nonchalant.
It caught me off guard yet put me at ease.
With discernment in your heart you inquired about my day
No angst in your voice or judgement in your heart
Your eyes were filled with compassion
You calmed the chaos within
You fuel my hope today
You inspire me daily
I respect you both
Thank you
Tim

Chapter 20
Personal Transformation
Your better version awaits:

In scripture, eagles symbolize God’s power, protection, and judgement.
Eagles also represent renewed strength and wisdom for those who have faith.
The Bible describes them as illustrations of God’s presence and powerful protectors.
This chapter is dedicated to anyone who hasn’t fully surrendered to God’s will for their lives.
Surrender is where true transformation takes place and then God’s realignment will begin to unfold.
During this realignment period peace will return, your mind will be strengthened, and a renewed spirit will rise up.
As the heralded Billy Graham once said, ” Life with God is sacred, and when you refine your wisdom clarity will emerge.”
“Go Soar with the Eagles”

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, and they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isiah 40:31)
